The six-issue limited comic series titled “Batman/Static: Beyond” was penned by Evan Narcisse (author of Rise of the Black Panther and Batman: Gotham Knights – Gilded City) and illustrated by Nikolas Draper-Ivey (Static: Shadows of Dakota). Set in a future timeline similar to that seen in the animated series Batman Beyond, this storyline also features appearances from Justice League Beyond. Batman Beyond’s new costume redesign brings him closer to the original Batman’s style.

The controversial limited series “Heroes in Crisis” caused a stir, as the central plot revealed that the Flash, a beloved character, accidentally killed multiple innocent heroes (including Roy Harper, his close friend) and framed Booster Gold and Harley Quinn for the crime.
