After the team’s fight with the butterflies, events unfolded differently, causing a massive ripple effect that significantly impacts Superman and Supergirl. Initially available as an early-access title on PC for several years, this game reached its full version launch in 2024. Now, it is set to arrive on the PlayStation 5.

The contrast between urban existence and exploring nature’s expanse was captivating enough by itself. One particular instance depicted my group grazing beside a train; another occurred as I watched a solitary car traverse a bridge above, mirroring the protagonist’s initial journey. However, Herdling transcends these comparisons, offering a narrative centered on forming connections and nurturing one’s herd. Even with minimal knowledge about them, this theme resonates surprisingly well with the protagonist’s personal tale.

Since the initial release of the game was exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, which I didn’t have access to, and later when it was ported to Windows, I didn’t own a PC at that time, I appreciate Marvelous for choosing a multi-platform strategy for their upcoming title. This decision broadens its reach to more players. Considering the promising previews and trailers, this move seems justified as it appears to be a quality game in development.
