Matthew McConaughey, an Academy Award winner, initially became famous for starring in romantic comedies. In the early 2010s, he went through a period called “the McConaissance,” delivering strong performances in films like the critically acclaimed Dallas Buyers Club (which earned him an Oscar) and the popular sci-fi movie Interstellar. As his career soared, joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe seemed like a natural move. Surprisingly, though, McConaughey turned down the opportunity when James Gunn approached him.

The opening scene of Scream is as effective as the famous shower scene in Psycho because both skillfully build suspense. However, that’s not the only reason it’s so memorable. In fact, many elements combine to make it, in my opinion, even more impactful than other iconic scenes like Chrissie Watkins’ death in Jaws or Father Merrin’s chilling monologue about despair in The Exorcist. It’s simply my favorite film scene of all time.

I recently played the demo for Celestial Return and read the prequel Webtoon, which provides the story’s background. While I usually prefer fantasy over sci-fi, the striking and somewhat eerie artwork immediately grabbed my attention. The story is intense, and the gameplay is equally challenging. Your choices and luck of the dice truly matter, creating an experience similar to playing tabletop role-playing games like Delta Green. That’s not surprising, considering the game is made by a team of experienced TTRPG developers. If you enjoy games that feel like classic RPGs, Celestial Return is definitely one to keep an eye on.

I’m so hyped! One Piece is returning to Netflix on March 10th with a brand new season, and Netflix is doing something really cool to celebrate!
