It’s been wonderful discovering T’Challa (Boseman), Shuri (Wright), Ramonda (Bassett), Okoye (Gurira), M’Baku (Duke), Nakia (Nyong’o) and others in Black Panther, but there are even more fascinating characters from the Marvel Comics universe connected to Black Panther that could enrich the MCU. As Ryan Coogler prepares for Black Panther 3 and the MCU approaches a reboot after Avengers: Secret Wars, it seems like the perfect opportunity to introduce these new faces. Doing so would not only deepen our understanding of Wakanda’s past and present, but also pave the way for stories involving mutants.

To eliminate the Ultimates permanently, the CEO of Roxxon convened a meeting with the leaders from Alchemax, Hammer, A.I.M., and Midas Inc. They’ve been asked to share the costs because they’ve hired Emma Frost, founder of Frost’s School for Troubled Youth. This school is a twisted version of Xavier’s school for mutant children in another universe. Instead of teaching them to be heroes, Emma prepares her students as weapons for the elite members of the Hellfire Club. Her pupils have never failed at their missions, and they’ve been sent to deal with the Ultimates, dispatching two of her most skilled students for this task.

In a turn of unfortunate events, Richard Parker’s decision to stow away on his father’s return journey to New York City was prompted by a distress message from his girlfriend, Black Cat, who requested his assistance. Upon reaching the designated location, he discovered too late that it was a trap set by not only Felicia, but also Wilson Fisk and a group of heavily armed Bullseye guards. To Richard’s surprise, Felicia had been manipulating him all along to extract information about Spider-Man, with the intention of handing him over to Kingpin for his nefarious purposes. Fisk presented Richard with an unappealing choice: either he reveals everything he knows about Spider-Man immediately, or they resort to torture to extract the information.

2026 is poised to be a significant year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with several franchise instalments planned that will move the story closer to the end of the Multiverse Saga, leading up to Avengers: Secret Wars. Despite some upcoming MCU releases in late 2025, there are also numerous thrilling projects lined up for debut in 2026 by Marvel.
