30 Years On, This Cult Classic Time Travel Movie Has Aged Surprisingly Well
It’s remarkable to note that “A Kid in King Arthur’s Court” celebrates its 30th anniversary on August 11th. Time truly flies! For many, this movie may bring back memories of watching it on television, which should give us a clue about its age. Taking a stroll down memory lane with “A Kid in King Arthur’s Court” reveals numerous details that our younger selves might have overlooked. To begin, the film is only loosely inspired by Mark Twain’s “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court”. Interestingly enough, this isn’t Disney’s initial adaptation of the novel; Disney had already adapted it once before with “Unidentified Flying Oddball” (released in 1978).
