In the same year, Hangar 13 launched Mafia: Definitive Edition, which received positive critical reviews and moderate commercial success, strengthening 2K’s faith in the franchise’s enduring popularity. Now, in 2025, we have Mafia: The Old Country. However, the question lingers: does it take the series to new heights or merely keep it afloat?

According to the Sony XDEV Twitter post, they are planning to address an issue that causes the camera or environment to seem jagged while moving, as well as making some minor adjustments and enhancements in the upcoming small PS5 update.

Since many of these games don’t have a release date yet or will be coming out later this year, it’s a great chance to get an early hands-on experience.

The Deluxe Edition of the game provides players an advantage by granting early access to play for seven days before its official release on September 12. Apart from this, it comes packed with additional in-game items such as 4,600 NHL Points, HUT Icon Choice Pack, HUT Starter Choice Pack, HUT Heroes Choice Pack, and the World of CHEL Vanity Set.
