New Vault Hunters

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming 3D installment in our beloved franchise from Nintendo and HAL Laboratory. While we patiently wait for its release, they’ve given us a delightful surprise! The classic Switch game, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, has been refined and optimized specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2.
So, let me break it down: Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star Crossed World is essentially the enhanced version of the original Forgotten Land, tailored to run smoothly on the new system. To sweeten the deal, they’ve thrown in an extra campaign for us to enjoy! It’s like getting two games in one – how cool is that?

Cronos, as opposed to being primarily a horror-infused walking simulator, is essentially a third-person shooter reminiscent of Dead Space and Resident Evil 4. However, it leans more towards the former due to its armored protagonists. Contrasting earlier games where you had to be cautious in searching for currency and ammo, this game makes inventory management exciting and adds a layer of stress that was missing before. Directly rushing towards the goal without tactical depth can be monotonous and devoid of tension, and Cronos rectifies this issue by ensuring that the mechanics offer an immersive fear experience, something that Bloober struggled with in their previous works.

In May, Netflix released a comedy-drama titled “The Four Seasons,” which is a modern take on Alan Alda’s 1981 film of the same name. Beginning September 1st, both the movie and an eight-episode series became available on Netflix. The film features Alda alongside Carol Burnett, Len Cariou, Sandy Dennis, Rita Moreno, and Jack Weston. These actors portray three middle-aged couples who holiday together throughout the year, but their relationships are shaken up when one character divorces his wife for a younger woman, played by Bess Armstrong’s Ginny. As a result, the group must confront feelings of betrayal and learn to accept their new member amidst the criticism.

Anticipated indie titles and some big Nintendo first-party games are slated for later in 2025, according to reports. However, as weeks pass without official announcements, some fans speculate that these releases might be delayed. Here are some of the highly anticipated games still expected in 2025, although they don’t have a specific release date yet.

Hey there fellow gamers! I’ve got some exciting news for us old-school Nintendo enthusiasts – it looks like we’re getting a classic throwback with the upcoming Nintendo 64 title coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This one is called “Forsaken 64”, and it’s a high-octane, futuristic shooter that truly stood out in the gaming world back in 1998 due to its bold ambition and stylish flair.
This game was so advanced for its time that it really pushed the Nintendo 64 system to its very limits with its intricate 3D environments, smooth motion, and exhilarating combat sequences. Now, after all these years, us fans will finally get the chance to relive those nostalgic moments on our modern-day Nintendo Switch – and even on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2! I can’t wait to feel that old-school adrenaline rush once again!

For me, Silent Hill 2 stands out as a deeply personal cornerstone in my gaming experience, and I’ve always felt that no other games by Bloober Team, despite their glimmers of genius, have quite conveyed the ability to delve into something as unconventional as Silent Hill.

Despite potentially not offering much novelty, particularly in its gameplay aspect, it excels remarkably at what it presents. Being enthusiasts of games like Dead Space and The Evil Within, we found ourselves thoroughly captivated by its intriguing sci-fi enigma.

The upcoming prequel to the Andy Muschietti-directed movies based on Stephen King’s “It” is scheduled to debut in the UK on Sky Atlantic and NOW on Monday, October 27th, 2025.

This daring decision proved successful, as the story told in Cronos: The New Dawn seems uniquely crafted by none other than the Bloober Team.
