The latest edition in the Mario Party series for Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Party Jamboree, has garnered an impressive 82 score on Metacritic, making it the best-rated game in the series so far. Its predecessor, Super Mario Party, debuted on the same platform in 2018 with a 76 rating on Metacritic, and more recently, Mario Party Superstars received an 81 score in 2021. As for the new game, it’s generally well-received, but some of the related merchandise launched alongside it have been met with poor reviews. In fact, the manufacturers are advising customers to avoid using these products due to their poor quality.

Enthusiasts of the Predator series received thrilling updates this week as they learned that Predator: Badlands, the upcoming sequel in the Predator series, is scheduled for release in November 2025. However, their excitement escalated further when it was disclosed that another unnamed Predator film is also due out in 2025, with Dan Trachtenberg, director of Prey, at its helm. That’s two Predator films by Trachtenberg next year! But now, a fresh speculation might provide insights into the mystery surrounding the second movie, and as per Gizmodo, it could potentially be an animated anthology.

The eagerly anticipated “Final Fantasy” themed collection is Magic: The Gathering’s newest crossover with the Beyond Universe. Even though the cards won’t be released for several more months, we’ve learned a bit more about what’s in store for us in the near future.

To begin, WWE SmackDown commenced with a significant statement as Randy Orton entered the ring, though he had some conflicts with Kevin Owens, it wasn’t him that Orton addressed. Instead, Orton summoned Triple H, and they engaged in a heated exchange, with Orton accusing Triple H of shielding one of his favorites. Triple H refuted this claim, stating that he had been denying the match against Owens to safeguard Orton from potential injury, and he took another dig at Orton as he described Owens’ current volatile state. Eventually, Orton managed to persuade Triple H, leading to the formalization of the match between Orton and Owens for Crown Jewel.

A previously PC-exclusive game is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED models, with a planned launch in the future. Notably, this title has not been available on any other consoles since its release in October of last year. As of now, there’s no information about it being ported to any console other than the Nintendo Switch by February 20, 2025. For the time being, it appears that the game will be a console exclusive for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. This may change in the future, but as of now, it’s a unique offering for Nintendo Switch users.

With the release of “Venom: The Last Dance” this weekend, the Tom Hardy-led Marvel series from Sony has now reached its trilogy milestone. As suggested by the movie’s title, this third installment seems to imply that Eddie Brock and his Symbiote companion may have reached their final dance. With the film now available for audiences to watch, fans are left wondering if it indeed marks the end, or serves as a foundation for additional movies. So, does “The Last Dance” truly wrap things up neatly or set the stage for future films?
