When FireRed and LeafGreen were released, they featured improved graphics alongside other popular Pokémon games of that generation, like Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Many fans consider these Gen 3 titles to be the peak of the Pokémon series, and the remakes of the original Kanto games (FireRed and LeafGreen) offered significantly more content than the very first Pokémon Red and Blue games. They included extra things to do after completing the main story, but it’s currently unknown if the upcoming Switch 2 versions will include similar features.

Back in 2024, the creator of Regular Show, J.G. Quintel, announced a new sequel series was in development. Since then, details have been scarce, leaving fans curious about its progress. Now, a report from TVLaint suggests the sequel is set to premiere on Cartoon Network in Europe this May, which could mean it will be available worldwide around the same time.

Typically, video game characters don’t have definitive conclusions to their stories. However, Solid Snake, the main character in the Metal Gear Solid series, is a notable exception. After appearing in games for many years, he received a satisfying farewell in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which remains a highly praised ending for a video game character. Now that the game is being re-released for the first time on modern platforms, fans will have another opportunity to experience this memorable conclusion.

Konami revealed in June 2025 that they’re partnering with Bloober Team, the studio behind the Silent Hill 2 Remake, to remake the very first Silent Hill game.
