I recently had the opportunity to preview some of the new Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution – Ascended Heroes products. I opened 37 packs from various items like the Elite Trainer Box, Erika Collection, Mini Tin, and Premium Poster Collection. While I didn’t get the specific card I was hoping for (a special Psyduck illustration), I was really pleased with the diverse range of cards in the set. It’s a great set for collectors thanks to the beautiful artwork, and there are also a few cards that could be helpful for competitive players.
As a huge fan, I was thrilled to see not one, but two characters from Deep Space Nine show up in the Starfleet Academy episode! It all started with the Dax symbiote – still around in the 32nd century and now teaching at the Academy. She sent SAM on this amazing mission to learn more about Sisko, which led her to the Sisko Museum. There was one exhibit in particular that really blew me away. Honestly, the whole scene felt huge, quietly changing things in Star Trek lore and making one of Deep Space Nine’s best episodes even more meaningful. It was fantastic!
