This title appears to be a reversed version of the 2022 title, Avatar: The Way of Water, hinting at the increased tension for the upcoming film. Although the atmosphere on stage was lively, it felt somewhat solemn due to the recent demise of producer Jon Landau, whose name was displayed on screens during D23. The movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash, will be dedicated in memory to Landau.

Moana 2 Trailer Released at D23

Tonight at D23, Walt Disney Animation Studios unveiled an official trailer for the upcoming movie “Moana 2”. Originally conceived as a Disney+ series, this new film brings back Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho who starred in the original. During the D23 event tonight, they performed a song from the movie called “We’re Back”, followed by Disney releasing the trailer.
