I’ve been following the weekly charts for non-English shows, and for a long time, Jujutsu Kaisen and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End consistently held the top spots. Interestingly, the latest data, covering January 26th to February 1st, 2026, now includes Hell’s Paradise this season. According to Netflix Tudum, it landed at number eight with 900,000 views, just below Frieren at number seven with 1.2 million views. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is still doing well, currently in fourth place with 1.6 million views.

Jonathan Nolan, the showrunner for Fallout and brother of Chris Nolan, recently discussed The Odyssey in an interview with CinemaBlend. He clarified that he isn’t involved in the film, but has seen it and considers it “tremendous” and “an incredible achievement.” Nolan shared that he and his brother had interesting talks about the film, and he found it “spectacular.” He also mentioned being fascinated with both The Iliad and The Odyssey when he was younger.

Despite all the conflict, there’s a certain appeal to seeing DC’s villains try to change their ways. Whether they’re finding their moral compass or reluctantly learning to work with others, these shifts in character add depth and interest to the DC universe.

This manga excels at timing – jokes land quickly, horror moments are truly shocking, and even sadness is portrayed with subtlety. This precise control is why many readers who first experienced the story in manga form feel it’s more intelligent and impactful in print. It’s not that the anime adaptation is bad, but rather that the manga presents the story with a clearer vision and fewer changes to the original intent.
