Paige DeSorbo Says Going “Overboard” With Botox Made Her Uglier

Paige DeSorbo’s decision to get Botox put a wrinkle in her self-confidence.

The former Summer House cast member confessed she wishes she hadn’t gotten cosmetic injections, feeling they drastically altered her look.

Paige said on her Giggly Squad podcast, with cohost Hannah Berner, that she’s done with Botox and other cosmetic procedures. She admitted to going too far with anti-aging treatments and doesn’t plan on getting any more injections or procedures at a doctor’s office again.

“Honestly, I think it made me look worse,” she said. “It didn’t improve my face at all, and it wasn’t the fault of the person who did it—it just doesn’t suit my features.”

Paige recently got Botox injections to reduce wrinkles. She waited until she turned 33, and had the procedure done on her forehead, chin, and around her eyes in mid-October, shortly before her birthday. Botox works by temporarily limiting muscle movement, which smooths out lines and wrinkles.

She was immediately thrilled with the results, sharing on her Amazon Live stream that she was completely hooked. She explained she’d put off trying it because she was worried she’d become addicted, comparing it to her teenage experience with tanning beds – once she started, she knew she’d want it constantly.

But when Paige returned in January for additional injections in the same spots, she began to experience issues with her face.

Let me tell you, dealing with that situation completely threw off my enjoyment of everything! It’s the worst feeling – you go to treat yourself to something you normally love, and suddenly it just tastes awful. Honestly, it created more issues than it solved, and it was a real downer.

Paige explained that her Botox won’t last, and she’ll likely be back to how she normally looks by summer. While she acknowledged there are benefits to getting it, she ultimately doesn’t think it’s worth the drawbacks.

Paige admitted the Botox did reduce her crow’s feet, but she felt the negative side effects were worse than the benefit. Because of this, she definitely wouldn’t get it again.

The former Bravo star has always freely shared details about her skincare, but for years she was firm about not wanting Botox or fillers.
