Hulu has announced the release date for season 2 of Paradise. The new season will continue the story of Xavier Collins, played by Sterling K. Brown, as he searches for his wife, Teri, after believing she died during the catastrophic event known as The Day. He previously revealed the location of a secret bunker in his search.
Disney has announced that season 2 of Paradise will premiere on Monday, February 23, 2026, on both Hulu and Hulu with Disney+. The new season of this suspenseful political thriller will begin with three episodes, and then release new episodes every Monday until it concludes. This is a shift from the first season, which aired on Tuesdays.
The first season of Paradise ended with a shocking reveal: Trent was responsible for President Bradford’s death. He also killed the bunker’s original librarian and successfully blended into the community after the catastrophic event known as The Day. Trent’s motive was revenge – he had been imprisoned after a failed attempt to assassinate Bradford earlier. This discovery was made just before the season ended.
Life inside the bunker has become increasingly stressful for the characters of Paradise, as they deal with the consequences of past events. We’ve learned that Sinatra was secretly a key figure in much of what happened, and he’s now in a coma. The second season will focus on what happens next, particularly as power struggles emerge with gaps appearing in the bunker’s leadership.
Xavier is currently traveling by plane, having left the bunker to find his wife. The trailer for Paradise season 2 reveals he’ll crash, and then discover the truth about what happened to people on the surface after The Day. While we don’t know where his search will take him, finding his wife will be the main part of his storyline.
With the show growing and covering more ground, it’s hard to say which of the main characters will be successful in the underground bunker. We also don’t know how long it will take Xavier to locate his wife, or even if she’s still alive. These storylines remain unresolved for now.
With the new season arriving in just over two months, fans won’t have to wait long to see what happens after the dramatic ending of season one. While the show will still touch on political intrigue, it’s going to be quite different now that Xavier has left the bunker, and we’ll see how the fallout affects everything.
