How to use cheats in Paralives explained

Let’s quickly cover how to use the cheats before we dive in. It’s actually quite easy!

First things first, you need to open up the ‘Cheat Commands’ console. You can do this by:

Pressing Ctrl+Shift+C
Pressing Ctrl+F1

So, once I got the Cheat Commands console working, all I had to do was type or paste in the cheat code I wanted, then hit Enter. It was super easy to activate everything!

Some cheat codes need you to type in a certain value, like a number, skill, or job. When this is necessary, we’ll use a capital X or Y to show you what to enter in that spot.

setmoney X – Sets your household balance to the chosen amount of money
printmoney X – Adds the chosen amount of money to your household balance
lottery – Adds a random amount of money between 1-100,000 Paradimes to your household balance
jackpot – Adds 50,000 Paradimes to your household balance
makeitrain – Adds 10,000 Paradimes to your household balance
piggybank – Adds 1,000 Paradimes to your household balance
payday – Adds the selected Para’s salary amount to the household balance
clearbills – Removes all pending bills

Paralives time cheats

skiptofiveminutesbeforework – Advances time to five minutes before the selected Para starts work
sethour – Advances time to the chosen hour of the day
advancehour – Advances time by one hour
advanceday – Advances time by 24 hours
clearsun – Sets the sun back to its proper position based on the time of day
noonsun – Sets the sun’s position to where it would be at noon
dusksun – Sets the sun’s position to where it would be at dusk

endworkday – Ends the selected Para’s workday. Salary and occupation upgrade points are awarded as normal

setitemonfire – Sets the selected item on fire

generatemail – Sends mail from the queue
generatenewspaper – Generates a new issue of the newspaper
resetmailbox – Removes all mail from the mailbox

toggleedittown – Enters build mode (Note: this mode is not stable and can cause issues/bugs)

benchmarkfps – Starts an FPS benchmark that lasts for 15 seconds
fps – Displays the current FPS
capfps X – Caps FPS at X value
fullscreen – Sets the game to Full Screen mode
