About
I’m so excited about *Itachi: Hunted Abodes*! It’s a really cool paranormal mystery game where you explore the underground side of Tokyo from the 2000s. It sounds like a thrilling adventure!
A Paranormal Subculture Story Starting with a Stigmatized Property
Welcome to early 2000s Tokyo.
Itachi is a college student who doesn’t have a permanent home. He gets a job that offers housing as part of the deal-but the house has a troubling history and a bad reputation.
You don’t need any special skills, and all costs are covered. All you have to do is live in the house like normal for a week, and you’ll be well-compensated for your time.
The only minor inconvenience is that he has to share living space with Tanuki, a representative from the company that hired him.
Okay, so here’s another weird thing I learned! Apparently, the guy wasn’t hired for the job he *thought* he was doing. It turns out he was actually brought in to attract these spirits called “Landgods” – they’re like ghosts that hang around the homes of people who died far from where they grew up. Crazy, right?
Honestly, the main goal here is just to get rid of these Landgods so we can finally sell the house without any problems. I’m a little worried about what might happen to Itachi because of it, but they seem willing to do whatever it takes to make the sale go through.
Join “weasel” Itachi and “raccoon dog” Tanuki in this adventure through Tokyo’s subculture scenes.
Your own job? Finding clues on the previous tenant’s untimely death.
Two Opposite Perspectives
As you investigate, you’ll be able to play as both Itachi and Tanuki, experiencing events from their perspectives. Itachi is an ordinary person who can’t perceive the supernatural, but he’s incredibly persuasive. He has a knack for getting information out of anyone – from gang members to even girls dressed as maids.
Okay, so playing as Tanuki is kinda unique. I’m not great at dealing with regular folks, but I have this weird ability to *see* Landgods. And even better, I can actually block their attacks, which lets me get info straight from them – it’s how I learn things in the game!
Only by combining these two opposite perspectives will you be able to see the whole truth.
Itachi needs to stay at a strange apartment, but he won’t be there all the time. He’ll be traveling around Tokyo, searching for clues within its many unique and diverse subcultures.

Send Those Monsters Back to Their Land
Once I’ve gathered enough clues and figured things out, Tanuki can kick off a ritual to send those Landgods packing – basically, back to where they originally came from. It’s like a supernatural eviction notice!
You must prove you know who these people are by stating their names, where they’re from, and how the person who led you here died.
Okay, so I’m trying to finish this ritual, and I’m using everything I know to get it right. But honestly, the pressure is *on* – if I mess up too much, Itachi’s the one who’s going to suffer the consequences, and I really don’t want that to happen!
