He didn’t write the second season of Creature Commandos after writing all episodes of the first season. He also directed fewer episodes of Peacemaker’s second season – three, compared to five in the first season – to focus on his broader DCU duties.

James Gunn obviously loves Peacemaker and the team he’s built, but his new job leading DC Studios might require him to focus on larger, more important projects.
