When Aggro Crab and Landfall teamed up quickly to develop PEAK, they likely didn’t expect the game to achieve such phenomenal popularity. Nevertheless, following its release on June 16th for PC, it has already sold a staggering five million copies.
The game titled “PEAK” is all about teamwork as you and up to three other players attempt to ascend a mountain, ultimately reaching its summit. Similar to “Breath of the Wild,” there’s a stamina system in place, and the unique feature here is the ability to climb virtually anything. You can also lend a hand to your fellow climbers by giving them a boost and even setting up ropes for them to hold onto as they make their way up. Each day, the mountain undergoes a transformation through four distinct biomes.
As you climb the mountain and overcome tasks, you accumulate “many” badges and also unlock fresh cosmetics. Due to its tremendous popularity, the development team is considering additional assistance while fixing various issues. The latest update includes language support for 12 new languages and adjustments to the balance of the Rope Shooter and Anti-Rope Shooter. For more information, click here.
