Peep Show stars confirmed for a very special Great British Bake Off episode celebrating sitcom

This year, The Great British Bake Off is bringing back some former contestants for a special Christmas episode.

Channel 4 announced that the stars of the popular and award-winning comedy Peep Show will be appearing on a baking show, trading their famously uncomfortable on-screen moments for the challenge of baking.

Beloved Peep Show cast members David Mitchell, Olivia Colman, Isy Suttie, Matt King, and Sophie Winkleman are teaming up again for a special Christmas baking competition. It’s the first time they’ve worked together since the popular show ended in 2015.

Viewers can look forward to plenty of laughs and a bit of delightful mayhem as contestants are judged by Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, with Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond adding their signature playful energy.

The contestants will be baking and decorating, hoping to win with challenges inspired by the show Peep Show. The question is, will their baked goods succeed, or will they fall flat?

The exact air date for The Great Peep Show Christmas Bake Off on Channel 4 hasn’t been announced yet, but it will likely be shown around Christmas time.

As a huge fan, it was bittersweet seeing the latest season wrap up earlier this month! After ten weeks of incredible challenges, we finally got a new Star Baker crowned – it was such a tough competition this year!

I was so thrilled to watch Jasmine Mitchell take home the crown on The Great British Bake Off 2025! After all the challenges she faced, it was fantastic to see her win. She really earned it!

Throughout the show, she impressed the judges enough to receive two Hollywood Handshakes and win Star Baker five times – a feat only one other baker in the show’s history has accomplished.

Jasmine was thrilled with her win, saying it was a huge relief after balancing exams and baking. She was incredibly happy to have achieved it, especially alongside such a wonderful group of people.

I need to remind myself that even when I doubt my ability to do something, I should still give it a shot. I should keep trying, because you never know – something amazing could happen.
