Simultaneously, a different report suggested that OpenAI might soon announce achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) as an excuse to break off its alliance with Microsoft, limiting its access to their technology and notable AI models.
Last week, Sam Altman expressed concern about GPT-5 due to its rapidly advancing abilities exceeding our ability to oversee them. Although AI has tremendous potential, it hasn’t yet reached levels beyond human cognitive capabilities. However, the excitement surrounding GPT-5 suggests otherwise.
