After a two-year wait, season 2 of the Disney Plus fantasy series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, is here. The show is based on the popular books by Rick Riordan.
Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri return as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover. This season, Dior Goodjohn and Charlie Bushnell are now full-time cast members, having previously appeared as Clarisse La Rue and Luke Castellan in guest roles during season one.
When Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood after a year, things have changed: his relationship with Annabeth is evolving, and his friend Grover is nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, he discovers he has a cyclops brother, and the camp is under attack by Kronos’s army.
Percy’s life is completely disrupted when he embarks on a dangerous quest into the Sea of Monsters. Now that the show has new episodes, viewers are wondering when they can expect the rest of the season.

The first two episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians premiered on Disney Plus on December 10th. New episodes will now be released weekly.
New episodes will be released every Wednesday on the platform, with the final episode arriving on January 21, 2026.

Similar to the first season, the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will have eight episodes. This season is based on Rick Riordan’s second book in the series, The Sea of Monsters.
Good news for fans: the show won’t end after these eight episodes! It’s already been renewed for a third season, which will cover the events of the third book, ‘The Titan’s Curse’.
