Perrie Edwards is preparing for a little miracle.
Previously from Little Mix member, it’s been revealed that she and her partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are soon to have another baby. This news comes shortly after she openly discussed a challenging pregnancy loss that happened not long ago, following the birth of their first child, Axel, who is now 3 years old, in 2021.
In an Instagram video posted on September 6th, the 32-year-old donned a shirt that had the phrase “If He Wanted To He Would…” at the back. She then turned to show off her expanding belly and the front of her shirt which read, “…and He Did!” in essence, expressing that she was pregnant.
Shortly after, Perrie’s partner and their son, Axel, walked into view, giving her a warm embrace and a kiss. In her caption, she wrote, “Here’s a little hint for you guys…
The newly made declaration by the couple occurred within a mere four weeks following the revelation of the musician, disclosing her struggles with pregnancy loss – an experience that came merely months after she and Alex had their initial child.
Perrie mentioned on the We Need to Talk podcast last month that Axel wasn’t able to walk yet, and she herself was expecting. She discovered her pregnancy during rehearsals for the Little Mix tour. She felt unwell and experienced various symptoms, which made her suspect that she might be pregnant.
Initially, upon conducting a pregnancy test, she and Alex were thrilled to confirm her intuition. Yet, as she embarked on tour with bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall in April 2022, the former X Factor contestant began feeling unusually out of sorts.
Every evening prior to a performance, she would reminisce about finding herself with a bleed. One such time, as she sat reflecting, she thought to herself, ‘This must be it, I’ve miscarried.’
Despite reassurances from doctors during routine check-ups that everything was going well, the situation changed when the baby underwent a scan at the 20-week mark.
Perrie described that day as truly awful, almost unbearable. She had been through a miscarriage before and felt an ominous sense during the ultrasound examination that something wasn’t right.
She explained that she had been deeply affected by the experience, to the point where she couldn’t drive home after the appointment due to her intense crying. She added, ‘When you’re six months pregnant and have prepared everything for your baby’s room, it’s incredibly difficult when something like this happens.’

She added, “Eventually, you cease to self-blame. Some aspects of your body simply don’t work as expected. That’s the reality. You must learn to let go and carry on.
Previously, the hip-hop artist, who is a parent with partner Maximillion Cooper, disclosed a devastating miscarriage endured during her time on the television series ‘Eve’, which was caused by an ectopic pregnancy.
In my journey as a lifestyle expert, I can vividly recall the year 2006, a time when an unexpected turn of events unfolded. I discovered I was expecting, leading me to undergo an emergency surgery and momentarily halt my work on the show for a fortnight. Reflecting back, I find it intriguing that I chose to deceive everyone on set, claiming my appendix had burst instead of revealing the truth about my pregnancy. Perhaps it was because I was in denial about my own circumstances at the time.
She went on to say that if she had to go through losing her baby, she wasn’t sure two weeks would be sufficient for emotional recovery. In reality, the healing time was barely adequate for her physically before she returned to work, as she had lost a significant amount of weight post-surgery and her body was weakened.

The real estate agent mentioned that they have a pet cat named Thor, who Romaine is deeply fond of.
