Atlus has unveiled an official website dedicated to the 30th anniversary of its Persona series.
The website is currently showcasing beautiful artwork by Shigenori Soejima, the character designer for the Persona series, featuring the main characters from each game.
It also states that the “Next Update” drops on the 8th January — which is obviously next week.
Throughout 2026, Atlus plans to share Persona updates on certain dates. Fans should definitely check their new website for these announcements.
We’ve noticed this often happens with Japanese publishers. While we don’t want to discourage your excitement, it’s best not to expect major news.
These events typically include things like new merchandise and sales. We don’t anticipate a major game announcement happening every few months, though.
It will be fascinating to see what Atlus announces. We’re almost guaranteed to hear more about Persona 4 Golden’s revival, and there’s a chance we’ll finally learn when the mobile game, Persona 5: The Phantom X, will be available on consoles. After that, we’ll have to be patient and see what else they reveal.
What are you hoping to see for Persona’s 30th anniversary? Share your thoughts and connect with other fans in the comments!
