Persona 5 Royal, Herdling, And STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions Are Coming to Game Pass

Xbox recently announced the next wave of games joining its Game Pass service. On June 4th, subscribers will get access to Herdling and Total Chaos on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and through the cloud for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.

On June 8th, two new games are coming to the service: Solarpunk and Undisputed. Both will be playable on PC, through the cloud, and on Xbox Series X/S. Undisputed will also be available on handheld devices. Solarpunk will be included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while Undisputed will be available to Game Pass Premium members as well.

On June 9th, Persona 5 Royal will be available on PC, consoles, and via the cloud for Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC members. Then, on June 11th, Beastro arrives on PC, Xbox Series X/S, cloud, and handheld devices for Game Pass Ultimate and PC subscribers. Also on June 11th, those with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass will get Frog Squad and the Game Preview of STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions on cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Finally, Junkster will be added to the service for Ultimate and PC subscribers on Xbox Series X/S, PC, handheld, and cloud on June 16th.

I’m so excited! As a Game Pass Ultimate member, I get early access to try out EA Sports UFC 6 on my console starting June 12th, thanks to EA Play. It’s a great perk!

On June 15th, several games will be removed from the service, including Jurassic World Evolution 2, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

This Game Pass update includes several new indie games, but many players will be most excited about STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions from System Era Softworks. The game has been in the works for a while, and it builds on the original Astroneer with a greater emphasis on playing with others.

In October 2025, the studio revealed nearly 17 minutes of gameplay footage for STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions. The video also included commentary from creative director Adam Bromell, who shared details about the game.

In a recent video, Bromell explained that this new game isn’t simply a continuation of Astroneer. It’s a completely separate title, STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions, and represents the type of online sandbox experience System Era hopes to become known for – a new genre altogether. He emphasized that it’s not Astroneer 2, but a fresh start.

STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions is a new game where players work together and adapt to challenges on the fly. You’ll play as a recruit on the ESS Starseeker space station, taking on timed missions to explore different alien planets under the guidance of the Fronteer Force.

Good news for everyone! I’m excited to share that STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions isn’t just launching on PC and Xbox Series X/S – it’s also coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, so even more of us can play!
