Pete Davidson Jokes Machine Gun Kelly, Baby Saga Share a Notable Trait

Actor Jonah Hill jokingly pointed out that his friend Machine Gun Kelly and Kelly’s 10-month-old daughter, Saga Blade (whose mother is Megan Fox), share a similar physical characteristic.

On the January 30th premiere of The Pete Davidson Show, MGK (Colson Baker) shared a video with Davidson, 32, showing him spending time with his young child. While they both enjoyed watching, Davidson playfully commented on one of the child’s distinct characteristics.

He playfully teased her, saying she had the same hairline as he did in 2014. She jokingly responded with a playful insult, then admitted she’d actually thought the same thing herself, wondering if it would grow back in.

Keeping things cheerful, MGK also congratulated Pete Davidson on becoming a dad. Davidson and his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, welcomed their daughter, Scottie Rose, in December, and she’s now one month old.

He remembered how wonderful it felt to hold their baby girl, adding, “I’m so proud of you. It’s amazing.”

As Kelly and his partner begin this new phase of parenthood, Kelly – who is also a father to 16-year-old Casie with his former partner, Emma Cannon – revealed the advice that has helped him build strong relationships with his daughters.

I recently read a book called The Conscious Parent by Shefali Tsabury, and it really resonated with me. The core idea was simply to relinquish control and fully support your child. It made me realize that they’re navigating their own path – like the captain of a sailboat. I can try to direct them, but ultimately, life – the waves and the wind – will take them where they need to go, regardless of my efforts.

After this realization, the star of Mainstream Sellout dedicated himself to being a supportive and reliable figure for his children, someone they could always turn to during difficult times.

As a father, I realize I can’t control my daughter’s life, but I can do everything I can to prepare her for whatever comes her way and make sure she’s strong enough to handle it. I also want to encourage her to enjoy the present moment, not dwell on the past or worry too much about the future, because you’ll miss out on the beauty around you if you’re always focused on what’s next or what’s been.

Machine Gun Kelly, whose given name is Colson Baker, had a daughter named Casie with his former partner, Emma Cannon, in 2009. More recently, in 2023, he became engaged to Megan Fox.

Megan, who is dedicated to raising her children with her ex, has been open about the challenges of co-parenting. In a 2022 interview with Glamour UK, she shared that it’s difficult balancing her desire to be present with feeling like she’s not doing enough, especially since she only gets to spend half of the time with her kids due to the separation.

Brian has a blended family that includes his adult son, Kassius, from his previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil. In December 2023, the actor shared a cheerful family photo featuring his wife, Sharna, and all five of his children.

Being a mother helps Megan stay centered and connected to what truly matters. She shared with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2023 that motherhood reminds her of how deeply present she’s always been, and she sees her own parenting reflected in her children’s actions and personalities.

In 2022, the actress known for Jennifer’s Body shared a rare photo with the singer of “Emo Girl” and his daughter. The photo was taken at his coffee shop, 27 Club Coffee, in Ohio.

The popular musician now relies on his daughter’s feedback when creating songs. He told Kelly Clarkson in 2021 that he values her opinion above his own, explaining she has a good sense of what’s currently popular and can tell him if a song is working well.

For Mother’s Day 2024, Brian shared a heartfelt message for Sharna on Instagram, calling her an amazing mother and fiancée and expressing how much everyone loves her.

Megan intentionally keeps her children off social media for a simple reason: she wants to protect them, especially from online exposure. As she explained to Glamour UK in 2022, she’s been successful in shielding them and preserving their innocence, but she knows that won’t always be possible.

Brian’s key to successful co-parenting is choosing when to argue. He explained to TopMob News in 2024 that separation will impact children, but parents can control how it impacts them. He said people often mistakenly try to shield their kids from any negative effects, which isn’t realistic.

Megan avoids saying negative things about her children’s father when she’s with them. As she explained on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2023, she believes that speaking badly about him would be like rejecting a part of her own children, since he’s an important part of who they are.

I’ll never forget seeing Machine Gun Kelly with his daughter Casie at the Kids’ Choice Awards a few years ago. It really hit me when I heard him talk about how she was a huge part of him getting sober. He said that she actually told him she knew when he was high, and that was the turning point for him. He’s been clean since August 2023, and he explained on a podcast that he wants to be the dad he needed growing up, and that means ending those old patterns for his daughter. It’s incredibly powerful to hear him talk about breaking that generational cycle.

Sharna expressed her gratitude to Brian’s children for giving her a preview of motherhood. Speaking on the Quite Frankly podcast in 2023, she explained that being around them allowed her to practice parenting skills and gain confidence. She realized she had a natural ability with kids and felt prepared to become a mom herself.

In 2020, Brian appeared as a contestant on the show The Masked Singer. He shared on Instagram that he was really looking forward to watching it with his kids, but they unfortunately fell asleep after just 15 minutes.

Brian had a vasectomy about two months after their son Zane was born, but he could potentially reverse the procedure later if they wanted. Sharna mentioned on the Oldish podcast in January that they would consider it, saying, “If we have the room and can manage it, I definitely would.” However, with four young children, their lives are already very full.

On March 27, 2025, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) had a baby girl! The arrival of their daughter was celebrated with an original song composed by MGK and his friends, including Travis Barker.

“She’s finally here,” MGK exclaimed in a post on Instagram, “our little celestial seed.”

In April 2025, Brian and Sharna shared a fun and happy time with Zion, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, enjoying treats and lots of laughter.
