Elsie Hewitt’s first foray into motherhood is off to a heartwarming start.

Just days after giving birth to her daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, with Pete Davidson on December 12th, the model shared heartfelt thoughts about the joys of becoming a parent and how much her family is growing.

She shared on Instagram that being a mom often brings overwhelming joy, explaining that she frequently finds herself staring at her baby, overcome with love and disbelief. She described feeling emotional about the miracle of creating such a perfect little person and being unable to process the intensity of her feelings, which often leads to tears.

Elsie, age 29, has experienced a lot of different emotions since her baby was born earlier this month. She announced the arrival of her daughter, Scottie, on December 18th, calling her “our perfect angel girl.”

She shared photos of herself, her partner Pete (32), and their new baby on Instagram, writing that this was the most fulfilling thing she’d ever done. She also expressed overwhelming joy and thankfulness.

Elsie experienced a health scare shortly after giving birth to her daughter, Scottie. On December 18th, she shared on Instagram that she had an unexpected medical procedure just one day after Scottie was born. She posted a photo of herself in a car, showing her swollen face bandaged, while holding Scottie’s car seat.

Elsie shared a photo and asked if anyone else had to have their wisdom teeth removed from the hospital just one day after giving birth.

Pete and Elsie, who started dating in March, have been preparing for the joys and challenges of parenthood for a while now. Pete shared with TopMob News back in July that he was thrilled about becoming a father and looked forward to providing a childhood for his child that he himself didn’t experience.

He went on to say that people often try to burden others with the things they themselves lacked or disliked, rather than taking action themselves.

She explained that this pain had caused her to miss out on work opportunities, and that being on set sometimes felt risky because of the possibility of needing emergency medical attention. She’s currently looking for solutions to manage the situation.
