I’m so excited! Phineas and Ferb is back, and it’s amazing to see how quickly everyone reconnected with the show. They’re already gearing up for more new episodes of season five, but that’s not all! We’re getting a third movie! It’s going to be on Disney+ and the Disney Channel, and it sounds incredible – apparently, it’s all about time travel and we’re going to learn more about Phineas and Ferb’s history. I can’t wait!
Variety reports that a third Phineas and Ferb movie is officially happening, though the title hasn’t been announced yet. Disney has given fans a sneak peek at the plot: Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s new time machine causes a problem – it accidentally prevents Phineas’ mom and Ferb’s dad from meeting. This means the boys never become brothers, and everything becomes boring. Now, Phineas and Ferb need to fix the timeline before it’s too late and save the future.
This new movie marks a fresh chapter for Phineas and Ferb, but fans will be happy to hear that the original voice actors are returning! Vincent Martella will reprise his role as Phineas Flynn, alongside David Errigo Jr. as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, and many more familiar voices including Caroline Rhea, Alyson Stoner, Maulik Pancholy, Bobby Gaylor, Dee Bradley Baker, Dan Povenmire, and Jeff Marsh. Disney is hoping to build on the show’s recent successful return to television with this film.
Phineas And Ferb’s Creators Speak
Jeff Marsh and Dan Povenmire, the creators of the show, recently shared details about the upcoming movie. They explained they’ve always wanted to tell a heartwarming and funny story about family and unwavering love. They also expressed their appreciation for Ayo and her team for allowing them to build upon the world of Danville and develop the characters in exciting new ways.
Disney Branded Television President Ayo Davis shared her excitement about the future of “Phineas and Ferb.” She explained that the show has always been about imagination, warmth, and comedy, with plenty of surprises. This new movie will allow the creators, Dan and Swampy, to expand that world and explore what happens when things are completely flipped around. Although a release date hasn’t been announced, fans are sure to be eagerly awaiting this next chapter.
