PICROSS S SNK Classics & NEOGEO edition announced for Switch

Jupiter is releasing PICROSS S SNK Classics & NEOGEO edition for the Nintendo Switch on November 27th. It will be available as a digital download from the Nintendo eShop for $17.99, €17.99, £16.19, or ¥1,800.

As you complete Picross puzzles, you’ll reveal pixel art featuring beloved characters from the past, those currently popular, and iconic moments.

Okay, so Picross is basically a picture puzzle game, kinda like a crossword but with numbers. You use those numbers as clues to fill in a grid and reveal a hidden picture. It’s super easy to pick up, even if you’ve never played anything like it before. Seriously, anyone can enjoy it!

Picross puzzles are a fun way to play with family and friends, letting you relive the classic feel of SNK games while also finding new challenges.

As a huge fan of these puzzle games, I’m so excited about how much content there is! There are 150 Picross puzzles and another 150 in Mega Picross. If you love Clip Picross, there are 5 of those. Plus, they’ve included 40 of each of the piece puzzles, bringing the total to 200. And that’s not all – there are 30 Color Picross puzzles and even 5 extra ones to really keep you challenged!

Time Attack mode challenges you to solve 30 Picross puzzles as quickly as possible, all within a set time limit. These puzzles have been specially chosen for this mode.

New Features

In the “Art Gallery” you can take a closer look at the key visuals used in the backgrounds.
By enabling the “Puzzle Board Coordinates Guide” option, you can easily specify rows and squares.
On Nintendo Switch 2, the Joy-Con 2 (R) mouse function is supported.
- Mouse function is not available in the trial version.
