Pink Denies Carey Hart Breakup in New Video

Pink is getting the party started on denying breakup rumors.

After news spread that singer Pink and Carey Hart were separating after 20 years of marriage, she quickly responded to deny rumors of a divorce.

Pink jokingly revealed in an Instagram video on February 26th that she and her husband are separated, saying she hadn’t realized it herself.

I was really surprised to hear that Mariah and Nick’s kids, Willow, who’s 14, and Jameson, who’s 9, apparently hadn’t been told about the breakup yet. It just seemed like a strange thing to mention, honestly.

Pink playfully asked if anyone wanted to share the news with their kids, then announced there was important news to discuss. She went on to ask if people were interested in hearing about her recent nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – her first year of eligibility – or if they only wanted to focus on rumors about her ending her career. She emphasized wanting to highlight her achievements instead of speculation about her ‘demise’.

She went call the breakup reports “fake news” and “not true.”

“Go with God and trash news,” she added. “You can do better.”

Late last year, rumors began circulating that singer Pink (born Alecia Moore) was having difficulties in her relationship, after she revealed she had recently lost some very close people in her life.

The Grammy-winning artist shared on Instagram on December 31st that she was excited to leave the Year of the Snake behind and welcome the Year of the Horse. She said she’s ready to let go of past hurts and that the past year was challenging for everyone, with a wide range of difficult and frustrating experiences.

She continued, “I’ve realized dreams this year, as well as nightmares.”

Pink explained she was recovering in the hospital before a neck surgery, while Carey, age 50, and their kids were enjoying a snowboarding trip.

She said she was choosing happiness and letting go of pain. She’s committed to focusing on positive thoughts instead of negative ones, and to fighting for life and vibrancy. She’s determined to reconnect with her true self and continue seeking hope, even during difficult times.
