Pippa Middleton is embracing the summer season.

Kate Middleton’s sister, James Matthews’ wife, sported a new, shorter, and lighter bob hairstyle at the British Grand Prix on July 6. She was accompanied by him.

Stepping away from my traditional dark brown, long bob for the Royal Family’s Christmas festivities last December, I recently opted for a more edgy, shorter style. This fresh new look features a chiseled, lighter brown hue all over.

For this special event, Pippa—mother of Arthur (age 6), Grace (4) and Rose (3) along with James—chose a cropped, earthy-brown suede jacket and fashionable sunglasses to complement a long, white gown. She completed her ensemble with wedge espadrilles, a brown shoulder bag, and a handy umbrella, neatly tucking her short hair behind her ears.

Pippa’s visit to the Formula 1 race at Silverstone was her first public outing in seven months. She previously attended a Christmas service at Westminster Abbey with Kate and their sibling, James Middleton, back then.

Whenever I’m fortunate enough to catch glimpses of Pippa out in the world, she’s usually standing side by side with her esteemed sister, particularly since Kate bravely revealed her cancer diagnosis. Just before Christmas, I last spotted Pippa cheering on a match at Wimbledon alongside Kate and Princess Charlotte, their precious 10-year-old daughter, in July of 2024, with Prince William by their side.

Ever since revealing her health status in March 2024, Kate has occasionally kept the public informed about her wellbeing.

More recently, the 43-year-old has disclosed details about the time following her treatment completion in September.

She expressed, as reported by People, during her visit to Colchester Hospital in Essex on July 2, that she wore a strong facade throughout treatment. “Once the treatment is over, it’s like, ‘I can move forward, return to normal,’ but in reality, the period following is incredibly challenging.

Kate, who is not only a mother to Prince George, aged 11, and Prince Louis, aged 7, together with William, emphasized the necessity of ongoing assistance following the conclusion of treatment, as this period can significantly impact an individual’s mental well-being.

She said, ‘Though you’re no longer under the care of the clinical team, it seems you’re struggling to carry on with your daily life at home as you once did. I believe having someone to converse with, guide, and support you during this post-treatment phase would be extremely beneficial.’

After all, healing—both physical and mental—isn’t linear.

In my experience, adjusting to a new normal isn’t an instant process; it requires patience and time. It’s more like riding a turbulent roller coaster than gliding smoothly down a straight track. The harsh truth is that challenging periods are inevitable along the way.

Harry commented that his father has a great deal of power and skill to handle things; he suggested that if left to his own devices, this situation could be resolved. This doesn’t mean interfering, but rather giving the professionals the freedom to take the appropriate actions and continue with their work.

Approximately a year following when King Charles III revealed his cancer diagnosis, he penned on April 29th that his health journey and cancer treatment have made him acutely aware of the most remarkable aspects of human kindness.

For every diagnosis or new case, it’s a challenging and sometimes terrifying journey for both individuals and their families, Charles noted in the guidebook for the event offering resources to cancer patients. Yet, as someone who is part of those numbers, I can testify that this journey can also reveal the most compassionate aspects of humanity.

Besides expressing gratitude to the healthcare professionals who aided him during his ordeal, he also emphasized that their work had instilled in him an even greater admiration for the exceptional efforts made by the outstanding institutions and individuals present at this event. She went on saying, “I’m excitedly anticipating a rewarding year to come.” Or simply, “I eagerly await a promising year ahead.

In simpler terms, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was saddened by the passing of her cherished rescue dog, whom she took in back in 2015, prior to her marriage to Prince Harry.

On January 7th, she posted on Instagram, “I’ve shed so many tears I can’t count – the kind that make you long to step into a shower in the hope that the water streaming down your face might magically erase them or make them seem unreal. Yet, they persist. And that’s alright as well.

Meghan expressed gratitude for years of boundless affection towards her dear Guy, saying, “Thank you.” She went on to explain that he enriched her life in ways that remain a mystery to him.

 

Edward “Ed” Pettifer, who is the stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s previous nanny Alexandra Pettifer (also known as Tiggy Legge-Bourke), was among those tragically affected by the terrorist incident that occurred on New Year’s Day in New Orleans.
