As an eager fan, I’m thrilled to share the news that “Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf,” the highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 puzzle platformer masterpiece, is also heading to Nintendo Switch 2! This exciting update follows its initial announcement for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, and Xbox One, all while being included in Game Pass.
At Tokyo Game Show 2025, visitors will have the chance to play a platformer from September 25th through 28th. The sequel, titled Planet of Lana 2, is set to deliver twice the expanse and intrigue as its prequel. In this continuation, Lana and Mui embark on a journey across planet Novo, unraveling more secrets about its enigmatic nature.
In the upcoming game, players will regain command over Lana, who now gives instructions to Mui, whose precision has been upgraded. Lana’s role is not only to solve puzzles and sneak past adversaries but also to evade the novel challenges presented by hybrid robots. To handle the enigmatic danger and confront her inner demons, Lana has become more agile and can now perform moves like wall jumping.
The sequel to “Planet of Lana,” titled “Children of the Leaf,” is scheduled to release in early 2026. Keep an eye out for further updates in the upcoming months.
