Just a week before the full game launches on PlayStation 5, Koei Tecmo has released a demo for Fatal Frame 2 Remake, giving players a taste of the updated horror experience.
You can download a demo of the game from the PlayStation Store right now! Any progress you make in the demo will transfer to the full game when it releases. This demo lets you play the beginning of the story, giving you a head start. Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake launches on PS5 on March 12, 2026.
Mio and Mayu, twin sisters, stumble upon a deserted village trapped in eternal night. This village is filled with angry ghosts who are looking for the twins, believing they escaped a long-ago ceremony. As Mio searches for Mayu and tries to get out, she unknowingly begins to relive a heartbreaking story from the village’s past.
