Gaming source Nate the Hate, known for accurately leaking PlayStation news in the past, recently stated that the next State of Play broadcast will happen “next week.” While he didn’t give a specific date, this suggests it will likely be on September 23rd, 24th, or 25th, as Mondays and Fridays are usually avoided for these broadcasts.
What Should PlayStation Fans Expect From This New State of Play?
I’m really excited for the State of Play next week, but honestly, we still have no idea what Sony’s planning to reveal! Still, looking at what’s scheduled for PS5 in the next few months, I think we can make some pretty good predictions about what they *might* show off.
We’ll probably get another preview of *Ghost of Yotei* soon, as its release in October is just around the corner. It’s expected to be the biggest PlayStation 5 exclusive game released for the rest of the year, so we can anticipate seeing more gameplay footage before then.
Recent reports suggest Insomniac Games will finally share new details about *Marvel’s Wolverine*. The game was originally announced in 2021, and we haven’t heard much about it since. It seems Insomniac is now prepared to discuss the project publicly, potentially revealing a release date and showing off new gameplay during the upcoming State of Play event.
