PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium Games For June 2026 Include Two Massive RPGs

This month, PlayStation Plus is adding some exciting new games to its Extra and Premium tiers. Get ready for lengthy adventures, as two massive RPGs are among the six titles joining the Game Catalog. Plus, Premium members will gain access to the first of three classic games being added to the service.

Two major role-playing games are coming soon: Final Fantasy 16 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Final Fantasy 16 is the newest main installment in the popular Final Fantasy series, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance has become known as one of the most immersive western RPGs of the past ten years, especially with its successful sequel. Final Fantasy 16 will be available in the Game Catalog on June 16th, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance will follow on June 23rd, as reported by the PlayStation Blog.

Here’s a complete list of games available with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium as of June 2026, including when they were added to the U.S. library:

  • Sonic x Shadow Generations – June 10
  • Final Fantasy 16 – June 16
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance – June 23
  • Life Is Strange: Double Exposure – June 23
  • Farming Simulator 25 – June 30
  • Blades of Fire – June 30
  • Black Desert – June 30
  • Gitaroo Man – June 16 (Premium only)

Okay, so Final Fantasy 16 is different. Like, really different from what I’m used to in a Final Fantasy game. It’s all about action now, fast-paced combat, not turn-based battles. When it dropped in 2023, everyone was raving about it – our review called it a modern masterpiece, and I have to agree, it really shakes up the formula in a good way. The story is amazing, and Ben Starr absolutely kills it as Clive, but honestly, the whole cast is fantastic. It does ditch a lot of the RPG stuff that Final Fantasy was built on, but that actually makes it super easy to get into, even if you’ve never played one before.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a very different kind of RPG. It’s a realistic and deliberate game focused on truly immersing you in 15th century Bohemia (now the Czech Republic). I often describe it as a ‘peasant simulator’ because it blends traditional RPG character growth with the idea of climbing the social ladder. You’ll be focused on basic needs – like having decent shoes and enough to eat – before you even think about becoming a knight in shining armor.

June’s Game Catalog update includes more than just a few highlights. Fans can enjoy a refreshed version of Sonic Generations, a brand-new adventure with Shadow in Sonic x Shadow Generations, and Blades of Fire, an action game from the creators of Metroid Dread. Don’t miss the latest installment in the Life Is Strange series, Double Exposure, or the calming gameplay of Farming Simulator 25. For MMO fans, Black Desert is also now available with PlayStation Plus.

With Extra and Premium subscriptions, you get access to many games beyond the monthly selections, but June offers a lot to play even with the basic plan. Two major titles, Final Fantasy 16 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance, will keep you occupied. PlayStation Plus has something for all gamers, but RPG fans will be particularly happy with this month’s lineup.
