PlayStation Plus Is Losing The Witcher 3 and More Hits Soon

On PlayStation Plus, new games are consistently added; however, Sony occasionally takes away games from their subscription service as well. A recent update to the PlayStation Store has disclosed which games will depart PS Plus in July, such as the critically acclaimed RPG, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” and others. Unfortunately, no specific date was provided for when these games will be removed beyond the month of July.

In July, several highly acclaimed games will be leaving PSX Brazil’s collection, as reported by PSX Brazil. Among these departing titles, you’ll find some real heavyweights like “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, but there are also others such as “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”, “Wild Hearts”, and “BugSnax”. Here’s the complete list of games that have been featured in the “Last Chance to Play” section of PS Plus.

  • BugSnax
  • Ride 5
  • Shinobi Striker
  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
  • Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris
  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
  • Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization
  • Sword Art Online: Last Recollection
  • Sword Art Online: Lost Song
  • Top Spin 25
  • UFC 5
  • Vacation Simulator: Back to Job
  • Wild Hearts
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

It might come as a shock to some that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, rather than Cyberpunk 2077, is included on this list, given the latter’s recent addition to the PS Plus library. Swapping one game for another might seem peculiar, but fans can still enjoy another highly praised RPG of this generation from CD Projekt RED – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Survivor”, a highly-praised sequel to Cal Kestis’ journey, is also set to depart (leave or be removed from sale). This game significantly enhanced most elements of the initial version and provided an even richer Jedi experience. Other titles in the lineup are games inspired by well-known anime series, catering to various genres to suit every type of player.

It’s unfortunate that these game titles are departing from PS Plus, but there’s plenty more excitement ahead for July and the future. Don’t forget to enjoy playing these games while they’re still available, as they will be taken off soon.
