A big update for The Elder Scrolls Online means PlayStation Plus subscribers will get all seasonal content for free! The game is already available as part of the PS Plus Extra subscription, and starting in April, that will include all the new seasonal releases at no extra cost.
The Elder Scrolls Online Is Getting A Big Update
Starting in April, The Elder Scrolls Online is introducing a new system with three-month “Seasons” that will bring fresh content throughout the year. PlayStation Plus members will have access to all seasonal content, both new and previously released.
In a recent announcement on their website, the creators of Elder Scrolls Online revealed that all new gameplay content released with each season – whether it’s a new area, dungeon, story, feature, class, or skill – will be available to anyone who owns the base game for free. Season Zero is the first official season and begins on April 2nd, continuing until July 8th. It will feature a significant amount of new content, including:
- The Night Market Event Zone
- The first wave of player experience improvements
- The first wave of class and combat refresh improvements
- The introduction of Tamriel Tomes with the Tome of Dawn and Dusk
- The introduction of the Gold Coast Bazaar
We plan to keep adding new content like improvements, events, and areas to the game, and it will all be included at no extra cost for PlayStation Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass members.
That’s Loads Of New Content For PS Plus Gamers
PlayStation Plus members can look forward to big updates in The Elder Scrolls Online, including a revamp of the basic combat system and major improvements to the overall player experience – changes that will noticeably impact how the game is played.
ESO players have a lot to look forward to! Recent announcements confirm a huge amount of new, free content coming to PS Plus throughout the year. This includes a brand new Thieves Guild questline, the return of the popular character Sheogorath, a challenging new end-game Trial, and solo dungeons, among other additions.
