PlayStation Store Losing Over 100 Games in Huge Removal

As a passionate PlayStation enthusiast, I’m sharing some news that might affect fellow fans: A significant number of PS4 and PS Vita games are being taken down from the Japanese PlayStation Store in a massive sweep. Surprisingly, these aren’t PS5 games, but they can still be played on PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles. However, this delisting does potentially impact PS5 and PS5 Pro users.

The upside is that these games aren’t particularly significant, so many PlayStation fans might not even notice their absence. But for those unaware, this is quite unusual to see such a large number of games removed from the PlayStation Store simultaneously.

Starting from September 30, 2025, Japanese publisher Entergram has announced that a total of 106 PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita games they published will no longer be available for purchase on the updated PlayStation Store.

On September 30, 2025, Japanese publisher Entergram has revealed that it will remove all 106 of its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita games from the revamped PlayStation Store at the same time.

Starting from September 30, 2025, we will no longer be offering packaged or downloadable versions of these specific titles for sale. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause our customers and kindly ask for your understanding. If you’re planning to acquire these titles, please do so promptly.

For all of Entergram’s games sold in retail stores, this rule does not apply. However, customer support will remain active and there’s an upcoming sale for their games prior to their removal from sale. Importantly, none of these games feature online elements, making it possible for the publisher to carry out this action.

Most of the games being eliminated have no further development plans, but there are 34 games that will resurface under new publishers. It’s important to mention these games can only be found on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Players in North America and Europe can access them by creating a Japanese PSN account, although they won’t find them on their local storefronts.

Currently, it’s uncertain what’s causing this widespread removal, as neither Entergram nor Sony have provided any details about it.
