
Sony and Bad Robot Games have partnered to bring their new game to PlayStation 5 and PC. The game, a four-player cooperative shooter, is being led by Mike Booth, the creator of Left 4 Dead.
Bad Robot Games CEO Anna Sweet shared that the team is building a brand new game world, and working with PlayStation will help them realize that vision. We can expect more information from both PlayStation and the developers soon.
We’re working with PlayStation to create a really unique and exciting game for players. I’m thrilled that Mike Booth is leading the creative side of things – he’s building a co-op adventure designed to deliver memorable experiences with friends.
Sony’s Christian Svensson also praised the team at Bad Robot Games, saying PlayStation is very impressed with their skills and creativity. He explained that Bad Robot’s dedication to new ideas and engaging experiences fits perfectly with Sony’s goal of creating games that players will truly love, and they’re excited to share the world Bad Robot is building with gamers.
Mike Booth, the creator and lead designer of the popular cooperative game Left 4 Dead, is heading up this project. He’s also known for developing the game’s unique AI director, which dynamically adjusted the zombie encounters to keep each playthrough fresh.
