Pocketpair has applied for a trademark for “Palworld Online,” including its logo, in both the United States and South Korea.
The trademark application was first filed in South Korea on April 24th, followed by a filing in the United States on April 27th.
You can play Palworld online with others in a couple of ways: you can team up with up to three friends in a shared world, or join a larger game on a dedicated server that supports up to 32 players.
Pocketpair hasn’t officially announced anything about “Palworld Online,” but the trademark might relate to the game’s planned 1.0 update in 2026. It could also just be a branding name for the game’s current multiplayer feature, much like “Grand Theft Auto Online.”
KRAFTON and PUBG Studios are also working on a mobile version of Palworld, officially named Palworld Mobile.
Palworld was initially released on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC (through Steam and the Microsoft Store) in Early Access on January 19, 2024. It later became available on PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2024.
Thanks, Inven.
