The cooperative puzzle adventure game, Pode, is now available on Xbox Series and Xbox One through the Microsoft Store for $24.99, according to its developer, Henchman & Goon.
Pode initially became available on Nintendo Switch on June 21, 2018. It was then released on PlayStation 4 on February 19, 2019, and on PC through Steam on April 3, 2020. Although an Xbox One version was planned around the same time as the PlayStation 4 and Switch releases in March 2018, it was ultimately never launched.
Here is an overview of the game, via Henchman & Goon:
About
Pode is the story of a little rock helping a fallen star find its way home.
Okay, so I’m playing this game where I control Bulder and Glo, and we’re basically exploring inside this huge, magical mountain. It’s awesome! We’re waking up this old, forgotten world and checking out the ruins of a civilization that vanished ages ago. We both have special skills, and honestly, we need to use them together. There are these really tricky puzzles everywhere, and they unlock hidden paths deeper into Mount Fjellheim. We’re a bit of an odd pair, but we have to work as a team to get through it all.
Pode is a cooperative puzzle game where players explore a world together, focusing on friendship and teamwork. It’s designed to be a calming and visually stunning experience, drawing inspiration from the art and culture of Norway, and emphasizes positive interactions.
