If you’ve played Pokemon Go lately, you’ve probably noticed a big change to how leveling works. The update raised the maximum level to 80 and changed how much experience you need to level up. Because of this, many players instantly jumped ahead by 20 levels or more, and received a lot of items all at once, causing their item storage to fill up. Along with these changes came a new feature called the Daily Adventure egg, and the recent Halloween event added an unexpected twist to how these eggs work.
The second part of the PokƩmon Go Halloween event started on October 27th, immediately following the first part. Like previous years, this event highlights PokƩmon wearing costumes, with Teddiursa in a witch hat and Noibat with a Halloween headband making their debut. Several popular costumed PokƩmon from past events are also back, and players are discovering they can now hatch costumed starter PokƩmon from the new Daily Adventure Egg, adding an extra surprise to the event.
Pokemon Go Could Have Bigger Plans for Its New 1K Daily Adventure Egg
Pokemon Go players have varying feelings about eggs ā some enjoy them, others don’t, and some don’t mind them either way. However, the new 1K Adventure Egg is quite unique. It doesn’t use space in your normal incubators, and you receive one for free simply by logging in each day. Because it only requires 1 kilometer to hatch, it’s easily achievable daily for regular players who use Adventure Sync while doing their daily activities.
The new Daily Adventure Egg has sparked a lot of discussion among players. Some, like me, enjoy the reliable daily hatch and the little boost it gives. However, others find the extra notification annoying. The biggest complaint seems to be that the PokƩmon available in the egg are mostly starter PokƩmon from PokƩmon Go. While this is helpful for players needing candies for those PokƩmon, many already have them.
Event Rowlet hatched from daily 1km egg

The recent discovery is exciting because players are now hatching costumed PokĆ©mon like Froakie and Rowlet from Daily Adventure Eggs during the Halloween Part 2 event. This indicates that Niantic wonāt keep the same starter PokĆ©mon in those eggs indefinitely. Instead, they might change the eggs to match events, offering different PokĆ©mon as rewards. This is a fantastic chance to get Shiny versions of these special costumed PokĆ©mon.
It’s currently unknown if costumed PokĆ©mon appearing in Daily Adventure eggs is a planned feature of the Halloween Part 2 event. While not officially announced on the PokĆ©mon GO website, it’s a promising sign that Daily Adventure eggs might hold more surprises in the future.
