Pokémon Legends Z-A is here, and fans are eager to explore Lumiose City! Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have already shared quite a bit about the game’s downloadable content that’s on the way.
The Mega Dimension DLC is available for £24.99 and includes both new cosmetic items and extra story content.
Here’s all we know about it so far, including when each part will land.
When is the Pokémon Legends Z-A DLC release date? Our speculation
While there’s no official release date yet, we’re expecting the Pokémon Legends Z-A DLC to come out in Spring 2026.
We’re aiming for a release around springtime, which is consistent with how we’ve released similar content in the past. We’ll share official details as soon as we have them.
You can now purchase the Mega Dimension DLC on the Nintendo eShop, and if you do, you’ll immediately receive the Holo-X and Holo-Y outfits for your character.
You can use these items in the main game, but the exciting part of the downloadable content is its story, and unfortunately, we don’t know when it will be released yet.
What to expect from the Pokémon Legends Z-A DLC
A flashy trailer already revealed two Mega Evolution forms of Raichu, and this downloadable content will largely center around Mega Evolutions.
The trailer’s description mentions new story content after the main game ends, so we’re expecting a DLC expansion similar in size to those from past games.
Besides the variations of Raichu, data miners have found hints that many older Pokémon, including Wigglytuff, Golbat, and Persian, will receive Mega Evolutions.
Considering how great the recent DLC expansions have been for the main Pokémon games, we’re really excited about this new one.
At the time of writing, Pokémon Legends Z-A is sitting at an 80 rating on Metacritic.
