Game Freak recently shared some new information about the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Instead of detailing all the new features, they revealed one of the new Mega Evolutions coming on December 10th: Mega Zeraora. A short video shows that obtaining this Pokémon will likely be quite difficult. You can watch the clip below.
The developer announced that obtaining Mega Zeraora for your team will be challenging. They encourage players to watch for opportunities to encounter it while playing the downloadable content!
The developer also shared some information about Mega Zeraora, explaining how it stores electrical energy and how its unique abilities can be used in battles. Here’s the official description:
Zeraora can store an incredible amount of electric energy – about the same as ten lightning strikes. This energy focuses in bumps on its forehead, chest, back, and hands, which glow a soft blue. When Zeraora builds up a lot of energy and attacks, it can defeat several opponents all at once.
The first downloadable content for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, called Mega Dimension, will cost $29.99. It adds new content to the game after the main story is finished, focusing on the mythical Pokémon Hoopa and a mysterious girl. Players will return to Lumiose City, which is experiencing strange spatial distortions. These distortions lead to the Hyperspace dimension – a mirrored version of Lumiose City filled with tougher wild Pokémon.
This downloadable content will introduce Korrina, a character who specializes in Mega Evolutions, such as Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur.
Released last month for Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is the latest game in the Pokémon Legends series. It emphasizes exploring the world and catching Pokémon more than the traditional battling found in other Pokémon games. But don’t worry, trainers who enjoy battling will still find plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves!
The game is set in Lumiose City, in the Kalos region. A key part of the story involves battling powerful, uncontrolled Mega Evolutions of Pokémon that appear throughout the city – these battles will be more difficult than previous challenges.
