As the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A approaches in just two weeks, Nintendo has shared a new trailer giving an overview of the game for the Switch 2. The trailer details everything important about the RPG, including how battles work, the Z-A Royale, Hotel Z, and the characters you’ll meet there. You can watch it below.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A tells the story of a new trainer who comes to Lumiose City in the Kalos region. The city was built as a place where people and Pokémon could live together peacefully, but it’s now threatened by strange, powerful Pokémon that have undergone Mega Evolution. Adding to the mystery is the Z-A Royale, a nighttime battle competition. It’s suspicious because the winner gets to have any wish fulfilled.
No matter what, you’ll be working with the people who live at Hotel Z, and you’ll become Team MZ. You can also battle other players online, including the new Link Battles. The version for the Nintendo Switch 2 stands out because it runs smoother and looks sharper. If you buy the original Switch version, you’ll be able to upgrade to the new version later, but it will cost extra.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be available starting October 16th for both Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. You can find details on the newest Mega Evolutions and the Mega Dimension downloadable content here.
