How to use trade codes in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

To use trade codes in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you need to first use Link Trade.

You can do this by opening up the menu by pressing ‘X’, and then select the following options:

  1. Link Play
  2. Link Trade
  3. Faraway Players

After connecting to Link Trade, you’ll be asked for a code. Enter the code that matches the Pokémon you want to trade.

Once the trade begins, you’ll be connected with another player who also wants to trade that Pokémon.

Before completing a trade, double-check that you and the other player are exchanging the correct Pokémon. Also, confirm both Pokémon have any required held items. Then, you can accept the trade.

After a successful trade, the Pokémon you receive will evolve, marking that entry as complete in your Pokédex if it wasn’t already!
