Pokémon Pokopia New Teaser Confirms Fan-Favorite Pokémon

Pokémon Pokopia is scheduled to release in March 2026, but we haven’t learned much about the game since it was first announced in September 2025. With the release date just weeks away, details about the game are still scarce.

However, we’ve been getting bits of information here and there. The latest promotional materials on the official website revealed some of the Pokémon that will appear at the event.

There’s More To Discover

Nintendo and Omega Force aren’t planning a huge marketing push for Pokopia, but as you’d expect with Pokémon, fans are eager for any details they can find. Here’s what we know about the Pokémon revealed so far:

  • Clefairy
  • Mime Jr.
  • Chansey
  • Greninja
  • Lucario

The promotional materials also feature Flareon and Sylveon. Overall, it’s a nice selection of Pokémon, with a focus on the original Kanto region but also including popular Pokémon from later generations like Greninja, Sylveon, and Lucario.

We briefly saw an ad poster planned for some stores – likely including Target – showing both regular Pikachu and its new ghostly form. It looks like Pikachu will continue to be a major focus for promoting the game, and will probably be featured prominently in all marketing materials throughout 2026, which marks the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon series.

There Are Plenty Of Pokémon To Befriend

How Many Will End Up Making It In?

With over 1,000 Pokémon available across the National Dex—and more on the way—it’s tough to say which popular creatures will appear in the new game, Pokopia, when it releases in March. Right now, the game seems to focus heavily on Pokémon from the first generation, including a unique Ditto character you play as. This is a clever way to get longtime fans excited about the game’s initial reveal.

Okay, so I’m really hyped about the new forms coming for some of our favorite Pokémon! They’re showing off a ghostly Pikachu and a Snorlax totally covered in moss, which sounds amazing. It’s cool to see them reinventing classic Pokémon like that, and I’m especially excited if they do this for a bunch of the older ones. Honestly, Pikachu getting a new form after all this time is a huge deal, and I’m hoping Omega Force and The Pokémon Company really knock it out of the park with something fresh and exciting.

With the upcoming release of Pokémon Pokopia, we’re expecting a much deeper look into the world of Pokémon than we’ve seen before. Many key details are still a mystery – we don’t yet know what the final goals of the game are, how the main gameplay will work, or which Pokémon won’t be included. We’re also hoping to see plenty of characters from the newer Pokémon generations.
