The Pokémon Company announced that its annual Pokémon Presents livestream will take place on February 27th. This date marks Pokémon Day, celebrating the franchise’s original launch. While a 2026 presentation was expected, official details about the event have now been revealed.
A new Pokémon Presents showcase is happening next Friday, February 27th! It starts at 9:00am Eastern Time / 6:00am Pacific Time. While the length of the stream wasn’t announced, The Pokémon Company says it will be a celebration of 30 years of Pokémon. We’ll have to wait and see exactly what they reveal.

What Is Expected at this Pokemon Presents?

With this Pokemon Presents celebrating 30 years of Pokemon, we can expect to learn about what’s coming next for the series. This likely includes the reveal of the next major Pokemon games – those that will begin the 10th generation. While it’s uncertain if these new games will be released in 2026, it’s possible, as a new Pokemon game usually comes out each year.
We’re also very likely to get an update on Pokemon Champions. This multiplayer game was announced last year and is scheduled to release in 2026. Since we haven’t seen or heard anything about Champions for a while, it’s almost certain we’ll learn more during the upcoming Pokemon Presents presentation.
As a Pokémon fan, I’m expecting some really cool announcements from The Pokémon Company! They already blew everyone away this morning by revealing that Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen are coming to the Nintendo Switch next week on February 27th! I’m hoping they have even more big surprises up their sleeve during the stream, especially since it’s the 30th anniversary of Pokémon – it feels like they might go all out for this event!
