During the Pokemon Presents event in July, several games were unveiled, but one conspicuously missing was the new expansion for the Pokemon TCG Pocket game. Fans had been eagerly anticipating this new set and felt let down that it didn’t make an appearance on the list. However, shortly after the Pokemon Presents concluded, a leak emerged about the upcoming set due to be released on July 30th. This aligns with past releases, suggesting that Generation 2 is long overdue for inclusion in the game.
As per the latest leak, it appears that Pokemon TCG Pocket will introduce Generation 2, featuring Lugia and Ho-Oh on the packs’ covers. Additionally, a new Umbreon and Espeon ex are hinted in the leaked trailer, along with fan favorites such as Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chickorita. What’s more exciting is the highly anticipated feature that’s expected to arrive on the mobile app.
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled about the arrival of baby Pokémon! The leaked images hint at the presence of Pichu and Cleffa. This is a feature that many of us have been eagerly awaiting. With the faster gameplay introduced in Pokémon TCG Pocket, it will be intriguing to observe how these baby Pokémon perform within the meta-game.

Beyond that, players can anticipate a variety of Pokemon originating from the Johto region, fresh supporters, and new items. The initial leak was posted in Italian, but fans have offered some translations for the previewed cards. If translated correctly, Ho-OH and Lugia seem to work together based on their abilities.
It appears that the preview is authentic, but The Pokemon Company hasn’t made an official announcement about it yet. With July 30th approaching quickly, fans can expect the formal trailer to drop soon, providing a closer look at all the new cards in the upcoming set.
