Ever since *Pokemon TCG Pocket* launched, new cards have been released very quickly – almost every month! This has made it hard for many fans to collect them all. While the fast pace isn’t changing, *Pokemon TCG Pocket* has announced a new type of booster pack that could help players get caught up. The *Deluxe Pack: ex* is coming soon and offers something different from previous releases.
On September 25th, *Pokemon TCG Pocket* announced a new Deluxe Pack: ex booster pack coming to the game on September 29th. However, this release is different – it won’t be available for long, disappearing on October 29th. Instead of introducing new cards, this Deluxe Pack: ex will feature previously released cards, including all four Diamond rarity cards. Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from this limited-time set in *Pokemon TCG Pocket*.
New Pokemon TCG Pocket Deluxe Pack: ex Features Guaranteed 4 Diamond Rarity & New Designs for Existing Cards
These special booster packs are limited because they each guarantee at least one card with a rarity of 4 Diamond or higher. These cards are from older sets, starting with *Genetic Apex* and continuing through *Wisdom of Sea and Sky*. This includes every 4 Diamond card from those sets, making it a fantastic chance to complete your collection.
The upcoming pack will mainly contain rare and popular cards from older collections, but it will also introduce some fresh content. The *Deluxe Pack: ex* will feature new foil patterns and updated artwork for a handful of well-loved cards, like Pikachu ex, Arceus ex, Solgaleo ex, and Buzzwole ex, as shown in the trailer. As the name suggests, the pack will include many other ex cards from previous sets, and some of these will also have new reverse foil versions.
Even though the initial *Deluxe Pack: ex* release is limited, the trailer suggests more packs are on the way. A small note says these packs will be available again in the future. This seems to be a new type of pack for *Pokemon TCG Pocket*, and future versions will likely include newer, rarer cards from upcoming sets. We’ll need to wait for an official announcement from the *Pokemon TCG Pocket* team to confirm the details.

While the release schedule isn’t completely changing, this gives players a chance to collect older cards while waiting for the next big release. The new booster’s availability ends on the same day the *Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Evolution* set comes out, suggesting it’s a way to help players prepare. The *Deluxe Pack: ex* will be available in *Pokemon TCG Pocket* from September 29th to October 29th.
