As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed that the essential tier of Sony’s subscription service, PS Plus, has been gaining traction lately, with an impressive lineup of monthly PS5 and PS4 games for members to enjoy. Is the momentum maintained in September 2025? That’s what this poll is aimed at discovering.
From Tuesday, 2nd September, you can redeem and download the following:
- Psychonauts 2 (PS4) | Review
- Stardew Valley (PS4)
- Viewfinder (PS5, PS4) | Review
In simpler terms, you own one exclusive game for PlayStation 5 called Viewfinder. The remaining games are designed for PlayStation 4 and can still be played on the current PS5 due to backwards compatibility. You have until October 6th to claim these games. Let’s delve into each of them in greater detail now.
Psychonauts 2 (PS4)
Razputin “Raz” Aquato, an acrobat by trade and a potent young psychic, has finally achieved his long-held ambition of joining the Psychonauts, the renowned international psychic espionage agency. However, the Psychonauts are currently facing difficulties. Their commander seems to have undergone a change since being rescued from captivity, and the situation is further complicated by a spy hidden within their headquarters.
Stardew Valley (PS4)
You’ve received your grandfather’s ancestral farm in Stardew Valley as an inheritance. Equipped with second-hand tools and some pocket money, you embark on this new journey with the goal of learning to live sustainably and transforming the neglected fields into a flourishing home. It won’t be a walk in the park though, as the influence of Joja Corporation has largely dismantled traditional village life. The once bustling community center now stands abandoned. However, there’s potential for growth in this valley. With determination, you could be the one to breathe new life into Stardew Valley!
Viewfinder (PS5, PS4)
Experience a fresh perspective, reinvent your understanding of the world, and mold your surroundings using a quick-capture camera. ‘Viewfinder’ presents a unique solo gaming adventure, filled with engaging and enjoyable moments as you unravel the enigmas hidden within.
